Stellenberg Gardens

Escape to a magical garden that showcases ancient oak trees, huge poplars, and hydrangeas. You will find 16 distinct areas in the gardens, including the Garden Entrance, the White Garden, the Parterre Garden, the Vegetable Garden, the Garden of Paradise, the Garden of Reflection, the Vine Walk Allée, and the Walled Garden. The garden tours take place from September to April and cost R200 per person.

Oakhurst Farmstall

This may be Kenilworth’s best-kept secret. At Oakhurst, you’ll discover a delightful array of sumptuous baked goods, quiches, tarts, a deli section, and a cosy café serving coffee, freshly made cakes, and main meals. Owner Jose Martin has imbued the place with a warm atmosphere, and if you look closely, you’ll notice artwork created by his artist wife, Susan. Be sure to take home some of their rolls and bread, jams and preserves, local wine, and imported sweets and chocolates.
