Known as having one of South Africa’s few Infrared heated yoga studios, this studio lets you enjoy the benefits of yoga while sweating out toxins with the help of trained instructors. Classes are held daily and can be booked either through the Bookamat app or at the front desk on your next visit.

Racket and Ball Club

Grab a mate and dabble in some padel at Racket and Ball Club, or RB Club as the cool kids like to call it, in Bree Street. Padel is a racket sport typically played in doubles on an enclosed court, slightly smaller than a doubles tennis court. To book a session, download the Playtomic app, search for Racket+Ball Club Bree Street, and let the fun begin! The app allows you to book your court, sign up for membership, join classes, and sign up for events, socials, and tournaments.

Experience the ultimate adrenaline Rush with the high-energy trampoline sessions at Rush Trampoline Park. The sessions, held a few times each month, feature an instructor who will guide you through the moves while the DJ spins high-energy tracks. This exhilarating and innovative workout can help you burn up to 1,000 calories in just an hour.

You can also visit the indoor park in Claremont for a day of fun and exercise. Try the air walk, wall-to-wall trampolines, dodgeball courts, basketball slam dunk lanes, and long trampoline lanes perfect for doing flips, and a battle beam.

Belly dancing

Women, and men, can enjoy the thrill of belly dancing- a Middle Eastern dance that not only boosts confidence but also improves flexibility, strength, and coordination.

Where to visit:

The Feminine Divine Oriental Dance Studio

Known as one of Cape Town’s oldest belly dance studios, the classes are held twice a week, virtually on Wednesday from 6-7.30pm, and in studio on Thursday, from 7:15 to 8:15pm. The Feminine Divine is run by sisters, Tenille and Tiffany Lindeque, with the intention of “celebrating the beauty and strength of the feminine spirit”

There are beginner and intermediate classes available, which tap into various forms of belly dancing. The classes are strictly for women.
