Cape Town Visitors’ Guide 2025/26 is bright and bolder than previous editions.
The latest guide, designed to showcase the very best of Cape Town and help you plan your perfect trip, features artwork splashed across the pages, created by the talented students at Oakley House High School, a school for neurodiverse learners.
Limitless
Twelve learners from the school, a key partner in our Future Tourism Leaders Programme, portrayed Cape Town through their own unique lens. They were asked to illustrate what “Limitless Cape Town” means to them, and the results are joyful, raw, and bursting with personality.
“These illustrations go beyond the page,” says CEO of Cape Town Tourism, Enver Duminy. “They’re filled with imagination, hope, and individuality, just like the city. We’ve always said that tourism should reflect the real Cape Town, its stories, people, and pulse, and these young artists brought that to life in a way no stock image or headline ever could.”
Duminy added that the learners’ art makes this year’s edition feel “more human, heartfelt, and alive than ever.”
Accessibility
This year’s guide puts the spotlight on what truly matters: accessibility, community, and authentic experiences for all. For Pamela Brennan, the Oakley House teacher who guided the students through the project, it became far more than just an art assignment.
“Our students were encouraged to dream, draw, and express what Cape Town means to them. The outcome? Art that’s personal, joyful, and packed with meaning. Seeing their work published has been an emotional and empowering moment. It’s shown them that their voices matter and that there are no limits to their creativity.”
James Vos, the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, says the guide shows how Cape Town is building a tourism offering that is not only world-class but also
world-wise. “Tourism is more than a selfie with Table Mountain, it’s a driver of growth, jobs, and pride. This guide captures Cape Town’s soul. It highlights our efforts to uplift communities, celebrate culture, and create opportunity through storytelling. It’s thoughtful, it’s inspiring, and it’s very Cape Town.”
Rolling It Out Differently
The fun doesn’t stop here. There are exciting plans to launch the guide in unexpected, playful ways. Think surprise product drops, interactive digital features, creative media moments, and even a city-wide treasure hunt.
