GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World

Whether you’re twirling on the ice at The Ice Station, racking up tickets at The Magic Company, or munching popcorn at the movies, GrandWest is your one-stop playground this winter. With epic events lined up for both little ones and grown-ups, it makes the ideal day out for the family.

Between 27 June to 20 July 2025, head to Fun Park at Sun Exhibits, GrandWest. Open daily, this event is packed with exciting rides, activities, and attractions specially designed for kids of all ages. Think carnival rides, amusement attractions, and energetic family-friendly entertainment including Tornado Ride, Bungee Trampolines, Rocket Parachute, Wipe Out Sweeper, Human Gyro, Swings, Cups and Saucers, Nerf Wars, various kiddie rides, and much more.

The Clay Café

Get your creativity (and hands dirty) by creating a masterpiece at Clay Café, located in Hout Bay, Paarl, and Cape Town City Centre. Choose a ceramic piece, your preferred paints and brushes, and start painting. While you create, enjoy some of the mouthwatering meals and beverages on offer. Once your craft mission is complete, your items are handed in to be fired and can be collected three to four weeks later.

There’s also an outdoor play area for the kids once they’ve finished their art, or for adults to relax and admire the surroundings.
