Your pet can relish the various fun facilities at the property, including an outdoor park, salon and spa, and wellness activities like physio.  

That’s not all! Pets staying accommodation can enjoy one of three accommodation types: doggy dormitory, doggy deluxe suite, and The Fritsidential Suite.

Radisson RED Cape Town 

This V&A Waterfront hotel pulls out the RED carpet for their pet guests, offering complimentary treats upon arrival and comfortable beds in their rooms. The hotel allows two pets per room, which is kitted in all the modern conveniences like TV, aircon, and picnic style desk setup.  

Pets are granted access to all areas of the hotel, provided they are on a leash. And, if you’re feeling fancy, your pets can also dine at the restaurant where the chef can whip up a special meal. Pet Heaven treats are also available for sale at the hotel.

SunSquare Cape Town Gardens  

Southern Sun recently introduced their first pet-friendly hotel: SunSquare Cape Town Gardens.  

The hotel’s pet-friendly rooms are fitted with hygienic vinyl flooring to provide comfort and practicality for guests and their pets.  

SunPets receive a welcome treat on arrival, pet bedding for the ultimate sleep experience, and access to a selection of bowls, mats, toys, and other conveniences during their stay. 

Pets also dine with their families on the terrace or at their Zepi restaurant. Meals can be ordered from the SunPet Gourmet Menu, which boasts a range of nutritious and delicious individually packaged dishes.

Price: SunPet-friendly rooms are available at an additional surcharge of R250 per room per night, with a once-off R500 non-refundable payment per stay.

One and Only Cape Town  

You can check into the One and Only Cape Town with your furry friend. The hotel offers luxurious pet-friendly ground floor rooms situated on the Island. The 5-star hotel offers its pet guests a welcome gift, an elegant bed and blanket, a water and treat bowl, and a toilet pad.  

While pets are not allowed in other parts of the hotel, this hotel has pulled out all the stops to treat your pet like royalty.

Price: A surcharge fee starts from R1000 per pet a night, and a refundable damage deposit of R2500 per stay applies.
