Cape Robin Cabin, Vrolikheid Landgoed 

Tucked away on a working fruit farm in the picturesque Tulbagh Valley, Vrolikheid Landgoed is home to seven charming cabins, all with their unique character and charm.  

The Cape Robin, which sleeps two guests, is ideal for couples. There is an outdoor hot tub with sweeping views and a cosy fireplace waiting inside when the air gets crisp. You can enjoy an outdoor braai or indulge in a freshly prepared pizza fresh out of the wood-fired oven. The cabin comes with all the essentials, including a fully equipped kitchenette, electric blankets, and a private covered balcony complete with cargo nets for lounging. You’re surrounded by some of the best wine farms in the valley, so definitely plan a few wine excursions during your stay.

Camp Canoe, Franschhoek 

Camp Canoe has three simple rules: to switch off, wind down and reconnect with nature 

Situated on the scenic peak of the Boschendal wine estate, Camp Canoe offers glamping accommodation. Each tent is equipped with exactly what you need. Each of the seven stylish, tucked-away tents has everything you need: a cloud‐soft bed, a wood‐fired hot tub, a crackling fireplace, and a deck made for stargazing (or your sunrise coffee). While each tent is ideal for two adults, there’s a day bed that can accommodate one child if you’re turning it into a family adventure. Just a heads-up, there’s an extra charge of R200 per child (over two years), so be sure to let them know before you arrive.
