Kalk Bay - About the Neighbourhood
Kalk Bay is a small harbour town located on the False Bay coast of South Africa. The town is best known for its unique fishing community and its seal population present at the harbour. Every day, fishermen head out to the bay in search of fish or calamari, and every day visitors to Kalk Bay can enjoy fresh seafood at one of the many restaurants lining the harbour.
The village is charming and picturesque, with houses nestled against the cliffs. But Kalk Bay is more than just a pretty place to visit – it’s also an excellent spot for cave exploring. The cliffs around the village are riddled with caves.
There are a number of beautiful beaches nearby to go for a swim in. No matter what you do, Kalk Bay is sure to provide an enchanting and unforgettable experience.
