Bellville is a residential, industrial, and commercial area in the Northern Suburbs of the City of Cape Town.

Located 25km from the Cape Town City Centre with stunning views of the Durbanville winelands and the Cape Fold Mountains, Bellville boasts an array of entertainment, shopping, eateries, and other enticing kid-friendly attractions.

Unwind at Tygerberg Nature Reserve as you take in the fresh air and scenic greenery around you. Visitors to the nature reserve can enjoy scenic walks and jogs, hikes, picnics, and other recreational activities. 

Another attraction that with breathtaking views is Bellville Golf Club. Enjoy a day out on the greens as you try your hand at the 18-hole golf course that showcases glorious views of the Hottentots Holland Mountain Range. 

Shopaholics can enjoy a trip to the Tyger Valley Shopping Centre. Home to over 275 retail offerings, travellers here can shop for clothing, furniture, jewellery, groceries, and accessories. The mall also has a few entertainment options like a cinema and the Barnyard Theatre where you can enjoy musicals, kids’ entertainment, and live sports screenings. 

For those who love adrenaline, Cool Runnings is worth a visit! Billed as Africa’s first downhill tobogganing track, the family park boasts an intricate course of steel tracks where you can slide down using wheeled bobsleds. 

For the foodies, Belville is home to a string of eateries. Popular choices  include Zibaldone and The BurnerZibaldone is an authentic Italian restaurant that serves pasta, risotto and veal, while The Burner is an Indian restaurant that specialises in Durban-style Indian cuisine and is famous for its bunny chows.
