Six Dogs Distillery

Nestled in the little valley of De Wet in the Western Cape province of South Africa, Six Dogs is, at its heart, to the spirit of innovation and adventure, while our range of 100% natural hand-crafted premium gins pay homage to family, friends, our partners in trade, gin-lovers in South Africa and around the world, and our ever-faithful six dogs. It began in 2013 in the most humble way: on our farm in a shed where our six dogs used to sleep, using an old copper geyser that had been welded and converted into a makeshift by a family friend. This is our first batch of gin was distilled. When you visit our farm, you will find that the dog shed has now been converted into a distillery and it is from here that Charles Bryant, our master distiller, continues to dream up and experiment with gin under the watchful eye of our six dogs: Midget, Obelix, Flea, Bodrum, Jack and Diesel. In 2021, in the adventurous spirit that is Six Dogs, we opened up an office in The Netherlands from where we are looking forward to expanding our reach in Europe and growing the pack of Six Dogs fans on a global scale. We are the first and only South African craft gin brand with roots in both the African and European continents."
