Winelands Light Railway

Located just outside Stellenbosch, Winelands Light Railway is a much-loved family destination where visitors can enjoy the outdoors and enjoy lasting memories.

At the heart of the experience is a 760m miniature railway, offering a scenic seven-minute journey around the park. Our popular Workshop Tours offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the railway’s workshop and repair space, where visitors can see how the trains are made and maintained and learn more about the craftsmanship behind miniature railways.
