Skydive Cape Town
It is action time! Out the door for a 120mph/200kph freefall, falling about 25-30 seconds from 9,000ft. The Tandem Instructor opens the parachute at about 5000ft, and a peaceful 3-4 minute parachute ride to the ground follows.
Skydive Cape Town’s professional and highly qualified staff will do everything they can to make your jump enjoyable and memorable.
They use only equipment imported from one of the most reputable tandem equipment manufacturers in the USA. This equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
If you’d like to capture the moment in video and still photographs, the tandem master can film the jump by means of cameras attached to his wrist. Footage is professionally edited and you receive it on a usb drive shortly after landing.
Please note that you will not be permitted to take any cameras, cell phones or other loose objects on the aircraft.
A tandem jump requires that you’re in general good health. The maximum weight for a tandem passenger is 100kg. Parental consent is required for jumpers under the age of 18.
The core management team of Skydive Cape Town consists of Anton Scalabrino, Peter Mauchan and Mark Bellingan who have, between them, over 100 years of skydiving experience. Mark has been National Safety & Training Officer for parachuting in South Africa since 2003 and Peter before him held this position from 1991 to 2003
The Drop Zone operates seven days a week, weather permitting. Mornings are generally the best times. Bookings are essential. Call +27 82 800 6290 or email email@example.com.
