The Manor House at Groot Constantia Wine Farm is a historic building originally built in 1778 and underwent extensive restoration after a fire in 1925. Today, it is part of the South African Cultural History Museum and showcases exhibitions of furniture, paintings, textiles, ceramics, brass, and copperware.

Visitors to the Manor House can explore the various rooms and see how the wealthy lived during the time period. The dining room is particularly impressive, with its large table and ornate chairs. The drawing room is also worth a visit, with its elegant furnishings and beautiful paintings. The bedrooms showcase the luxurious bedding and furnishings of the time.

In addition to the exhibits, the garden is home to a variety of plants and trees, including some that are over 200 years old. The garden also provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains.

A must-see for anyone interested in the history of the South African wine industry.
