Once you’ve soaked up the views of the majestic Helderberg mountains, it’s time for lunch! What’s it to be: sprawling with a picnic basket under the oaks, or feasting on low-and-slow roasted meats and vegetables at Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery? Fresh salads and sandwiches from the Picnickery… or flavour-filled classics at the Spier Hotel Restaurant? Whichever you choose, we know your tastebuds will be delighted. 

Our farm is your playground. Let your little ones loose in the Elemental Play Garden or among the Werf’s granite boulders, or explore our pastures and vineyards on foot, bike or Segway.

Art is everywhere. Ranging from soaring sculptures to contemporary canvases, these works have been created by both the unsung heroes and the leading luminaries of South African art.

If you’re not ready to leave, we’ve got that covered too. After a pampering spa treatment, rest your head at the newly refurbished Spier Hotel set to open early 2025, which offers cosy country-style accommodation – along with swimming pools for summer and blazing fires for winter.
