We urge all visitors in Cape Town, the Stellenbosch Winelands, Overberg, and Southern Cape Coast to prioritise safety due to an unprecedented Level 9 weather warning. Expect 100-150mm of rain and very strong winds in the next 24-36 hours. Please stay where you are if safe to do so, as travel is strongly discouraged.

Major attractions, including Cape Point, Table Mountain Cableway and the Overberg areas, are temporarily closed. Update 15:00: Current ON TIME departures at 94%, no flights impacted due to weather for arrivals and departures.
