The Franschhoek Wine Tram has long been the most popular way to take in what this quaint Winelands town has to offer, and they have just launched their newest exciting offer: The Village Walk Experience. Discover the history of Franschhoek, sample locally crafted chocolates, and sip on local bubbles on this leisurely stroll.
What to expect
The Village Walking Tour takes you through the beautiful Franschhoek Village. You’ll see some of the most important architecture and cultural sites, including the Huguenot Memorial Monument, Franschhoek Town Hall, and The Dutch Reformed Church. Then, you will be spoiled with a chocolate demonstration at Huguenot Fine Chocolates, before heading to the beautiful Orgari for a clay sculpture demonstration like none other. The tour comes to an end at the tranquil River Café where you will be able to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, MCC, coffee, or a refreshing cold drink.
