Athlone Stadium

Visitors can take a guided tour of the stadium, which includes a behind-the-scenes look at the locker rooms, media areas, and the pitch. The tour, led by knowledgeable guides, provide insightful details into the stadium’s history and architecture. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the tour.

The stadium is open from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.

Joggers and walkers can also make use of the stadium’s running track.

Fives Futbol Vangate

Located at the Vangate Mall in Athlone, Fives Futbol Vangate offers a range of playing options, including five-a-side and seven-a-side football and sports such as netball, basketball, and volleyball. The Joseph Stone Auditorium

Victoria Mxenge Project

The community of Victoria Mxenge is situated just south of the intersection of Lansdowne and Ottery Roads in Cape Town. Named after Victoria Mxenge, a South African anti-apartheid activist, visitors here can learn more about the Victoria Mxenge Project through an insightful visit, either on their own or as part of the Cape Care Route tour [Link: https://www.capetown.travel/listing/cape-capers-tours/]. Guests may have the opportunity to visit a few of the women’s homes for a cup of tea or a homemade meal.

A flower-growing initiative that cultivates arum lilies indigenous to the Western Cape, has been established in Victoria Mxenge and is knowns as the Lilies for Peace Project. The flowers are sold at the fresh flower market.

Experience A Fastfood Feast At Wembley Roadhouse
