Jive Cape Town Funny Festival
10 June 2013 - 07 July 2013
Get ready to laugh out loud and roll in the aisles as the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival, formerly the Vodacom Funny Festival, makes its way to the Baxter Theatre in Rondebosch, Cape Town from June 10 to July 7,2013.
This chilly season, some of the nation’s greatest comedians, including the hilarious Marc Lottering, Siv Ngesi, Alan Committie as MC and the esteemed Archbishop Desmond Tutu perform alongside international artists Steve Rawlings (the UK’s top comedy juggler), Mooky Cornish (former lead clown of the Cirque du Soleil) and comedy pianist Kev Orkian, who is no stranger to the Mother City’s considerable charms.
Festival attendees can expect a feast of comical hijinks from these jokers, with local radio personalities Guy McDonald and Carl Wastie providing fresh material to the show too.
Tickets are R150 each and are available at Computicket.
