Sun Met 2020

This event will bring racing enthusiasts and fashionistas together to celebrate and witness the thrill of Africa’s Richest Race Day. Red Bull King of the Air 2020

The Red Bull King of the Air competition is the most prestigious big air kiteboarding contest in the world and a definite highlight on the Cape Town kitesurfing calendar. The event sees the very best board-riders from across the globe come together for a day of action, adrenaline and a lot of wind. This year’s competition features an innovative new entry and qualification format for when the weather window opens on 1 February 2020.

South Africa VS England – 1st Momentum ODI

The English cricket team is currently touring South Africa from December 2019 to February 2020 to play four tests. They will be doing three 1 day Internationals and 3 Twenty20 International matches. South Africa hosts England at Newlands Cricket Club on the 4 February 2020 for the 1st one day international.

The Match in Africa – Roger Federer vs Rafael Nadal

20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer will play his first-ever match in Sub Saharan Africa in Cape Town on Friday, February 7, 2020, at 8:30 p.m. Federer’s opponent will be 19-time Grand Slam Champion and rival Rafael Nadal. The match will be played for the benefit of the Roger Federer Foundation.

Design Indaba Conference 2020

Mother City Comedy Festival

Following the wild success of the inaugural first year, the mother of all comedy festivals, the Mother City Comedy Festival returns by popular demand to the Baxter Studio Theatre from 11 to 29 February. Slave Route Challenge Powered by Brimstone

This iconic road race is a favourite on the Cape Town Running Calendar. We have a Half Marathon, 10km Run, 10km Big Walk and 5km Fun Run. This will be our 10th Year Anniversary, so come on, be part of the Slave Route Challenge Powered by Brimstone. We start at the City Hall in Darling Street and Finish on the Grand Parade.

Ultra 2020

Ultra South Africa comes to Cape Town, with a line-up packed with the biggest DJs in the music business. In the shadow of Table Mountain and loaded with top-level production, Ultra is a one-day dance festival unlike any other in Southern Africa. General access tickets start at R500. VIP tickets start at R900.

Cape Town Pride Mardi Gras 2020

Cape Town Pride 2020, produced by OUTReach Africa, will be taking place on the 29th of February this year. Visitors will get to see local and international artists as well as more stalls with larger groups and a bigger stage. The annual parade through the heart of the CBD gives them a chance to be visible and speak loudly to the rest of the city on what they have achieved as the LGBT group.
