The Village Idiot

Relax, unwind, and adopt a carefree attitude as the large balcony plays host to braais in the summer and offers lovely views of the surrounding concrete jungle, while the enchanting colonial fireplace makes winter nights a lot more bearable.

The menu is a melting pot of different South African cultures coming to life on a plate.

Visitors can expect enticing options like braai boards (a selection of local barbecued meat served with chakalaka), freshly baked roosterkoek, Durban-style chicken curry, boerewors burgers, potjie kos, biltong and cheese platters all served with appetising sides like pap, grilled mielies, smoked coleslaw, potato fries and more.

Also expect various specials like pulled pork burgers, lamb rump on the fire and a happy hour on Saturdays!
For the sports fans two TV’s and a large drop down projector  allow visitors to enjoy major events.
After dinner the venue switches gears with live music or an in-house DJ that creates a magical vibe and carries the party long into the night.

This is the place where you  let your hair down and raise your glasses to foolish renegades, adventurous idiots and all the people who refuse to live life by the rules of normality.
