Norval Foundation is a contemporary art museum & sculpture garden that is situated in the natural beauty of the Constantia Winelands, on the slopes of Table Mountain National Park. Located in Steenberg, just 25 minutes away from Cape Town city centre, the Norval Foundation combines the experience of art with an appreciation for nature. One of the definite draw cards aside from the art is the Skotnes Restaurant and Bar overlooking the wetlands and sculpture garden. The setting seamlessly matches the nature and architecture of the foundation and offers visitors a multi-sensory experience.
Our nine gallery spaces, wetland sculpture garden, restaurant, bar and museum shop offer visitors a multisensory experience for the whole family – with a specific play area for kids, and kids art workshops. The art exhibitions rotate every four-to-six months, so there is always new art to see.
The Skotnes Restaurant and Bar serves modern South African cuisine, with relaxing views of the Sculpture Garden from the restaurant deck.
