Bridgewater Bed & Breakfast

The estuary heads out to the ocean through two headlands, popularly-known as the Knysna Heads. They guard this small seaside town which enjoys the Knysna Oyster Festival that draws people from all over the world. Held around late June, nearly 200,000 oysters are consumed. Tsitsikamma National Park lies opposite to the residential northern side of the water, while the world-class golf courses of Pezula and Simola await those wanting to practice their swing. Nearby Wilderness, Nature’s Valley and the majestic Cango Caves ensure there is no end of activities for nature lovers.

Rooms at Bridgewater B&B are either lagoon-facing or open up into a garden behind the main courtyard. Don’t be afraid to ask the proprietors about activities in and around the town as they have first-hand knowledge of the area.
