Trees Restaurant at the Townhouse Hotel
Trees Restaurant at the Townhouse Hotel is an 80-seater that is superbly designed to maintain an air of intimacy and romance. In the heart of the city centre it is a perfect spot for a delicious pre-work breakfast or business lunch. In the evening a pre-show dinner from an inspired a la carte menu is just the ticket.
A short walk from the city's Company Gardens, which inspired its name, Trees Restaurant is located on the Townhouse Hotel's first floor, with windows overlooking a leafy avenue in CBD. The restaurant has a chic, contemporary look and feel and the interior also features table settings which can be intimately screened and an two-way central fireplace warms diners in cooler months.
Headed by Michelin-trained executive chef Stefan Schmidt, who gained his experience in Germany, followed by with senior positions at Blaauwklippen and the Grand Roche Hotel, the restaurant is known for simple, classic dishes which blend both local and global inspirations.
