Amongst leaders in Africa Aviation, South African Airways (SAA) is a respected carrier on the Africa Continent, serves regional destinations between Johannesburg, and Accra, Kinshasa, Harare, Lusaka, Lagos, Mauritius and 2 domestic routes, Cape Town and Durban.
The airline is a member of the largest international airline network alliance, Star Alliance.
SAA’s core business is the provision of passenger airline and cargo transport services together with related services, which are provided through SAA and its wholly owned subsidiaries: SAA Technical (SAAT), a world class maintenance facility and Air Chefs, the catering entity of SAA. SAAT has particularly been successful in the delivery of high quality maintenance services such as; major airframe checks; engine overhaul; mechanical components; avionics and line maintenance.

Part of our ongoing vision is to promote and grow air travel across the continent one of our big milestones was signing a strategic partnership framework with Kenya Airways – a major step towards developing a Pan African Airline group.
We introduced new more affordable advance purchase of Business Class fares to help leisure passengers to access the bigger seats.
SAA has Codeshare services to Dubai with Emirates Airlines, to Maputo with LAM Airlines and to Mauritius with Air Mauritius. In addition, we have recently signed an inter-line agreement with CemAir to provide more route options for SAA customers.
