Casa Mila was built in the 1930s, an authentic old Cape home that offers both charm and beauty inside and outside. It is within easy distance of Cape Town City Centre while being peacefully removed from the bustling heart of trade. We are close to the N1 and N2 highways and to Cape Town International Airport (approximately 15 minutes).
Your host, Mila, brings genuine Brazilian hospitality to the mix and she makes each and every guest feel special.
Our ample self-catering 4 bedroom home sleeps 8 people comfortably and an additional 2 on a sleeper couch, 3 of the rooms are en-suite with the 4th having its own full bathroom just across the passageway. Each bedroom has its own SmartTV with DSTV and Netflix. There is fast fibre optical wifi, ideal for those on business and homeschooling. There is a lounge with a fire place, dining room, library, TV room with comfy couches and a patio with pool and barbecue facilities, with lots of wood at your disposal and of course plenty of sunshine! We also provide a play area for the kids which includes a jungle gym in the front garden where the grownups can keep an eye on them while sipping on a cup of tea or glass of wine on the veranda!
Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and essential cooking items are available at all times.
We also offer housekeeping services which are included in the price. Hotel quality is our standard!
We are equipped to handle load shedding (electricity outages) and are not affected by it should it happen during your stay at our residence.
There is a garage and ample parking behind a secure wall. Full alarm system with sensor beams, cameras around the perimeter of the property and electrified fencing protecting the house. The suburb is also monitored by cameras for your safety. We do have a security company, which patrols the area regularly and is contactable at any time of the day and night.
