When:

IPAF runs from 23rd – 27 February 2022.

Location:

This year, IPAF explores a new location! This Festival’s murals will be larger than ever before, by adding multi-story massive public artworks to the skyline of the Cape Town CBD. The main activities of the Festival will take place in the bustling vicinity of Harrington Street.

Theme:

Baz-Art is excited to announce that the theme for IPAF 2022 is Humanity. This will see large-scale public-friendly murals being created across the new location of Cape Town CBD, responding to this theme, which was chosen to encourage connection and positive debate while promoting the arts and our future talent.

Throughout two incredibly hard years, we have been reminded repeatedly about our connectedness to each other, through shared experiences, caring, longing and kindness, and again and again, we have seen massive acts of compassion. We are reminded that despite all these challenges, together we can rebuild, reconnect, reflect, create, and remember our Humanity. IPAF 2022 will reflect this daily human connection through the creative expression of our talented street artists and storytellers.
