Robben Island Heritage Day special

Every year Robben Island hosts “Open Day” on 24 September with an objective to create awareness on the importance of preserving Robben Island as an iconic national and World Heritage Site. Usually admission to the Island would be free and due to the impact of COVID-19, RIM has had to consider a reduced rate instead to keep the annual celebratory visit for many South Africans.

In celebration of this year’s Heritage Day, under the theme celebrating South Africa’s living human treasures, RIM will be having an almost 40% price reduction for all South African customers:
