Finding the motivation to work out during lockdown can be tough. Luckily, lots of yoga studios are offering online classes to help you keep fit and mindful during these stressful times.
YogaLife is a family run studio in De Waterkant Village. Their aim is to provide accessible and soulful yoga for yogis from all walks of life. They offer around six online classes per day at various times, so there should be a time-slot to suit your schedule. You can choose Vinyasa, Power, or Sculpt classes.
The Yoga Room
The Yoga Room’s teaching style reflects their wish to make yoga inclusive and accessible. Their teachers are highly experienced, have diverse yoga backgrounds and create a safe, inviting atmosphere that welcomes people of all levels, of all ages, of all shapes and sizes. They offers between one and three online classes per day for yogis at different levels.
House of Yoga
House of Yoga is an urban oasis where you can discover who you really are – physically, emotionally and spiritually. Everyone is welcome, from beginner yogis to seasoned practitioners. Their yoga classes are led by experienced, caring teachers. Virtual classes are twice a day – in the morning and afternoon so you can choose a time that works for you.
YogaSpirit in Claremont is running multiple scheduled classes with their YogaSpirit teachers via zoom each day. There are also Spirit classes on YouTube for anytime you feel like it.
Wild Thing offers a variation of Vinyasa based yoga and body conditioning classes. These classes cater for all yogis at levels. You can choose a 10 class pass, a drop-in class or a monthly unlimited pass, which gives you access to all classes.
