The year’s theme is Reunited as visitors will get to curate their own experiences while taking in the sights and sounds of the Mother City.

The Carnival will take place within 5 differently coloured hubs at well-known Cape Town landmarks, including Hatfield Street, National Gallery, SA Museum, Heritage Square and Green Market Square.

5 Hubs. 5 Shows. 1 Celebration

All shows will take place simultaneously at each hub throughout the day where performers will showcase their skills through art, dance, music and more.

The organisers will adhere to strict COVID-19 restrictions to ensure that all visitors are safe during their carnival experience. When guests buy a ticket for the carnival, they will need to supply their COVID-19 track-and-trace info.

All hubs will be sanitised before each show, and guests will need to wear a mask and sanitise at the designated areas at each hub. Temperature checks and other screening measures will be conducted.
