TAP, located at the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway’s scenic Lower Cable Station is a restaurant that serves delicious pub style food. It is a popular spot to chill and kickback for those visiting Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa.

Because if its location and being elevated thousands of metres above sea level it offers spectacular panoramic views of the city including the Atlantic Ocean, and the surrounding mountains. The restaurant’s outdoor seating is ideal to make it a great place to relax and take in Cape town’s natural beauty.

TAP specialises in burgers, pizzas, wings, classic Chicken Schnitzel and many more tasty dishes. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of local craft beers as the bar offers four Newlands Spring beer varieties, as well as a curated selection of vodkas, gins and wines.

The restaurant has a relaxed and comfortable ambiance, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the mountain.

TAP restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
Operating hours may vary during the summer and winter season.

You don’t have to be going on a trip up to the top of Table Mountain to visit TAP and is open to  all including hikers who may need a refreshing, cold, drink.

TAP can also be booked as a venue for special events and is a wheelchair friendly space.
