Cape Point is pleased to announce that SANParks has confirmed that activities can now take place in the park.
Permitted activities
- Fishing. You will need your post office permit and either pay the day fee to fish or present a valid level 3 permit.
- Surfing
- Hiking
- Cycling
SANParks requests that guests adhere to all official alert level 2 regulations when inside the parks including wearing masks, keeping social distance, and following transport capacity directives.
My Green card and My Activity permit holders extension
SANParks have advised the below:
“Dear My Green card and My Activity permit holders,
Table Mountain National Park Management would like to inform you of the extension of my Green card and my Activity permit only to cardholders if they expired during lockdown or are still valid.
We kindly advise all park users to renew their Activity permit and Green card by visiting our Sales Office in Tokai during office hours from Monday – Friday at 8:00 am – 12:30 pm & 13: 00 pm – 15:45 pm. Extensions will only be granted if the actual card or permit is presented.
Safety first: Please wear a mask when visiting our office & temperature screening will occur prior to admission into the office.”
