Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon
Known as the world’s most beautiful marathon, the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon covers a distance of 56km (35 miles) and takes place every year in Cape Town on Easter Saturday (dates: 3 April 2010, 23 April 2011).
The route is renowned for its spectacular scenery and views of crystal clear oceans, majestic mountains and vibrant supporters. Traditionally the route takes runners along the Cape Peninsula next to the ocean, over the world-famous Chapman’s Peak Drive into the seaside town of Hout Bay, up over Constantia Nek and through the forests to the finish at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in Rondebosch.
Old Mutual Two Oceans International Friendship Run
All international entrants are invited to meet at the Good Hope Centre, on Good Friday morning, for a scenic 5km run/walk through the City of Cape Town. Participants can jog with the flag of their country. Friends and family of the international entrants may also enter for a nominal fee. (As well as all African Entrants)

Cape Town has so much to offer visitors, such as the Cape Point Nature Reserve, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the V&A Waterfront, Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned), visits to the world
renowned Cape Winelands, cable car rides to the top of the majestic Table Mountain, South Africa’s premier tourist attraction and much, much more.
