Shop local in the CBD
The centre of town is perfect for the curious, adventurous and indecisive, as it offers a wide variety of quality items on a wide price spectrum. You can start with local curios, African-inspired design and handmade goods at the Green Market Square. Next, try on some local designer items hot off the runway at Merchants on Long, Mungo and Gemima and Imagenius on Long Street. If Vintage is more your thing then Afraid of Mice, or Second Time Around on Long is where you want to be. Down Church Street, head over to Chandler’s House for locally made artisanal gifts, antiques, textiles, homeware and a selection of fine art.
