In our townships, we can easily tell the difference between travellers and tourists. Travellers are usually found walking the streets, interacting, sharing stories with locals, learning about one another's cultures and countries. Tourists on the other hand, whizz past in big groups, taking photographs from inside air conditioned busses. Be a traveller with Vamos. Lets go, walk or cycle with us in our neighbourhood, see our homes, experience our culture and thereafter enjoy a traditional African braai (barbecue) at Mzoli's; where all colours of the rainbow meet.

best tour eva!!!!!would rate it a 6+ or even a 10 but there was none of it.i would like to congratulate you on introducing such a high standard service. My concern is that this tour is running most of the time empty and as a rate payer i am concerned that i might have to foot the bill in the end. I live in Belhar and like me, there are many, many people in my area that will fill that bus during peak, morning and afternoon as well as the elderly during the day, as this service is regarded to be safe and reliable.But i no there is no bus that you have but you do have bikes. If this service could be extended to more area's, without being seen as a threat for Golden Arrow and others,eg running from Bellville via Airport via N2 to Cape Town at a reasonable rate, we can make this service viable.

Mzoli's is amazing. The best barbecue ever and the locals are so friendly. Siviwe your tour is a bargain, great fun, interesting and a full-on meal thrown in. Thanks for a "hot" morning!

If ever you are concerned that you may be a voyeur on a township tour, the cycling tours conducted by Vamos around the Langa area are amazing. Siviwe is both fun and interesting and set us at ease. Good luck and we will tell our friends.

Excellent tour guide who really knows what he's talking about. Also runs a gumboot dance group as a volunteer, so you know it's money well spent!
