Cape Peninsula Tour

Nature and wildlife

Our classic Cape Peninsula Tour takes you on a circular drive of the most scenic Cape route through Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak Drive, all along the coast past the quaint villages and suburbs and then into the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Because our vehicles are small we are able to explore as many of the side roads of the reserve as you would like to see, and which are mostly closed to large buses. This is a paradise for nature lovers! At the end of the reserve we will ride in the famous Flying Dutchman funicular to the old lighthouse (or you can walk up if you are energetic enough!). Once there we will view the staggering cliffs from a variety of view points and then walk down again (or you can ride down). Lunch is at the Two Oceans Restaurant with its excellent food and fabulous views. After lunch you can walk along the top of the beautiful cliffs overlooking Dias Beach and we will collect you at the end, which is the Cape of Good Hope. There is a variety of mammals to be seen in the reserve and we will endeavour to spot them for you, including ostriches on the beaches! After the reserve we will visit the famous African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach and then return you to your hotel via the scenic False Bay coastline. Our tours are conducted as fast or as slowly as you want and our guides are experienced. We offer free wifi in our vehicles so you can share your memories instantly!
