LEARN 2 SURF represents South Africa’s top surf schools, and boasts SSA-accredited instructors. The only establishment to have implemented a ratio of one instructor to every three students, we want to ensure that you receive maximum guidance and attention while in the water.Our policy is to put safety first, to facilitate the safest possible environment in which to play and have fun in the ocean. A comprehensive first aid kit and cellphone are always available on the beach, and we use only the best quality surfboards and wetsuits.LEARN 2 SURF coaches children from ages 6 to 60 and over!* Lesson info*All lessons are weather dependant and must be booked more than 24 hours in advance. Lessons are one and a half hours long, but please be sure to arrive 20 minutes early to allow for changing time. Mornings are generally the best time to surf as the winds are lighter – surfing in strong winds is not enjoyable or very safe. With this in mind, we are constantly monitoring weather forecasts so we can book or confirm the best time for your lesson up to 3 days in advance.Lesson fees include all surfing equipment; you only need to bring your bathing suit, towel and sunscreen. Family discounts are available, as well as a 20% saving when you buy four lessons in one go. We can arrange group or private lessons, children’s parties and corporate team building events, as well as special holiday surfing courses.LEARN 2 SURF in Cape Town is based at Muizenberg Beach.* Muizenberg Beach *Muizenberg is a Blue Flag beach and one of the safest to learn to surf at in South Africa.
