Whether you choose a specialised tour with intensive wine tastings or a more relaxed one with some free time to enjoy the towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, our goal is to accomodate your wish.After a few years spent working for some of the most prestigious chateaux in Bordeaux, France, Pauline de Martini decided to complete an MBA in wine marketing and management at INSEEC Bordeaux. Her five-month internship brought her to South Africa, where she discovered the beauty of the Cape winelands. Impressed by what is considered to be one of the most spectacular and well-developed wine routes in the world, she decided to leave France for South Africa and gain experience in a field she has always been passionate about: wine tourism.In January 2009, Pauline opened La Route des Vins. "My wish is really to transmit to any tourists coming over to Cape Town, my love of South African wines – and to drive them through the immense beauty and diversity of the Cape winelands," she explains. Pauline is a member of the Cape Wine Academy, where she is currently studying to become a Cape Wine Master. She provides personalised service and collects and drops off clients at their hotels.
