After a chance meeting, two South Africans – one black and one white – decided to pool their resources and set out to transform the character and make up of the tourism industry in the Western Cape, with a particular emphasis on tours into the townships. Meaningful participation by black operators had in the past been effectively blocked by the entrenched position of established big business and a lack of access to financial and other resources.Andile is responsible for all aspects of the field work, including guiding and marketing, and very few B&Bs can resist his charms when he is on his rounds distributing our brochures! Malcolm is the back-room boy, responsible for all matters financial and for general administration. The company is jointly owned by the two on an equal-share basis.Help Andile and Malcolm make a difference and achieve their objective: "a commitment to the upliftment of the community through tourism".
