Dive Inn
Dive Inn provides a personal dive and touring service to divers and travellers in the CapeTown area.We will prepare a tour and/or dive package to fit your needs and are committed to ensuring you have a wonderful time in Cape Town and the surrounding areas. We are absolutely mad about scuba diving and touring. Who better than us to show you the wonders that Cape Town's waters and surrounds have to offer? We offer boat and shore dives to reefs in and around Cape Town.If the Cape Doctor (the legendary southeaster) is too strong or, for some other reason, diving is not possible, we can dive into the Winelands, where the wine farms offer some of the best wine tasting in the world.Nature lovers can explore Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, beaches, walking trails and loads of other attractions in and around Cape Town. The weather is quite fair throughout the year in Cape Town with winter months (May to August) being the wettest. However, with the rain comes some of the best False Bay diving! During summer (September to April) the air temperature can rise to 35 degrees Celsius in Cape Town, and even higher inland. With temperatures this high, the southeaster is always welcome.Cape Town can be visited all year round as summer and winter weather conditions allow diving in different parts of the Peninsula. Touring can also be done every month. The best months for diving, wild flowers and whale watching are July to September.

Since 2010 I have been diving with Dive Inn when over in Cape Town on business. Dive Inn offer a full service, including pick up, equipment, transport to and from dive site / boat launch, and drop off back to where you are staying, and as an accredited tour guide, he also makes transfer to and from the dive shop and site more interesting by pointing out sites of interest along the way. The outfit Carel works with, Pisces Divers, are friendly and professional, with their boat and rental equipment in good condition. Carel is a friendly, enthusiastic and responsible dive guide, and when sea conditions are bad, will make the effort to find somewhere sheltered to get in and see something interesting. You even get post dive snacks and sandwiches and copies of any good photos he gets of the dive at no extra cost. I have no hesitation in recommending Dive Inn as a one-stop shop for any divers visiting Cape Town.

Having being recommended by a colleague we went diving with Carel over a weekend and one day during the week. Carel not only picked us up from our seperate accomodation but also described and showed us things on route to the dive shop that we would never have knowm. His knowledge of the areas in and around Cape Town are insightful and second to none. Diving was relaxed yet a lot of fund and the team did everything for us! I would thoroughly recommend Carel if you are looking for warm hospitality and a great time.

Carel took us on an all day tour of the wine regions, his knowledge of the area was excellent & the trip was carefully planned to enable us to sample many different wines as well as Brandy's, Demi Sec and a lovely visit to the Cheetah reserve. He went out of his way to show us other places of interest, always giving us options. Although we managed to visit many places throughout the day, it still seemed very relaxing & we would recommend a day with Carel to everyone!
