African cooking in a township where you have the opportunity to meet the locals and taste the cuisine that the majority of our country eats on a daily basis.b. Cape Malay cuisine tours – here you have the option of learning about the oldest cuisine in the Cape; Cape Malay cuisine, from the doyenne of Cape Malay cooking, Cass Abrahams, or combine a city tour with lunch in a home in the Bo-Kaap where you learn about this cuisine.3. Private day tours that introduce you to Cape Town – its people and its villages. A must-do is the Cape Peninsula Tour, which orientates you to the layout of extended Cape Town. Highlights include Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope and the Boulders. This tour can include an exploration of the Constantia wine region during the day. Another option is to include a city tour, this can be done by vehicle – but is always best on foot.
