The Bokbus has been in operation since 1999 and offers affordable Garden Route tours from Cape Town.This five-day, four-night, all-inclusive adventure tour is perfect for exploring the best that the Garden Route has to offer. Highlights include two Big Five game drives, stops at the Cango Caves and an ostrich farm, canoeing on Wilderness Lagoon, visiting the Tsitsikamma National Park and Knysna, bungee jumping and whale watching (in season).

4 Day Garden Route Tour

Nature and wildlife

he Garden Route is a little piece of heaven tucked away on the East Coast of South Africa. Our tour incorporates the highlights of the area along with the splendid scenery. This is perfect for those who don’t have much time but wish to experience the famous Garden Route along with many of its activities…. Departs on Thursdays & Fridays. Day 1
Our route takes us around the stunning False Bay to Betty's Bay where we'll visit the local penguin colony, Stony Point, before arriving in Hermanus. Hermanus is famous for being the best land based whale watching site (in season) in South Africa and is a beautiful little town with wonderful cliff-side walks. From here we head to the Garden Route Game Lodge where we can enjoy a Big 5 sunset game drive, fantastic buffet dinner and hot spring under the stars. We'll also overnight in their award winning chalets. (D) Day 2
Early morning Game drive to see some animals you perhaps didn't see the evening before followed by a scrumptious breakfast! After breakfast we will do a cheetah walk where the ranger feeds them and explains all about these magnificent animals. We then head through to Tsitsikamma National Park, via Knysna, for a hike to the ever famous Storms River mouth, where we can take a dip in the Indian Ocean.

We will make a quick stop en route at Bloukrans Bungy, which is the highest bungy in the world, at 216m. Tonight we stay in Storms River Village. (B;D) Day 3
Today you have the option of an ocean adventure by spotting dolphins and Whales from a boat in Plettenberg Bay. Following Plettenberg Bay we head to Knysna for lunch and to explore the Knysna heads. Thereafter on towards Oudtshoorn, which is the Ostrich capital of South Africa.We shall visit an ostrich farm and you can even try your luck at riding one. Tonight we stay in Oudtshoorn. (B;D) Day 4
After an early morning breakfast, we make our way to the well known Cango Caves which is a National Monument. Afterwards we make our way back towards Cape Town via the Overberg region of South Africa and the well known Route 62. A visit to Ronnie's SEX shop is obligatory! (B)
