Table Mountain Hiking Discover the magic of Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain while hiking with our experienced nature guides, who will interpret the wonders of the unique Cape Floral Kingdom, a World Heritage Site, and regale you with stories of local legends. Routes can be tailor-made according to your hiking experience and preferences. Choose from a range of routes, from a gentle meander on the table plateau to Maclear’s Beacon, the highest point on the mountain, to a challenging scramble up Nursery Ravine or India Venster. Enjoy spectacular views of Cape Town and surrounds before descending on foot or, if legs are weary, in the revolving cable car. A qualified guide will escort guests around the township, showing them interesting places and explaining isiXhosa customs. Highlights of the tour include traditional dancing by a sangoma (an African traditional healer) and a visit to a local preschool. Enjoy tea or lunch in the home of one of the locals, where you will experience the taste of authentic African cuisine.
