We visit the Green Point Stadium, the impressive newly built sports venue that co-hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The newly landscaped Green Point Biodiversity Eco-Park is a must see for green enthusiasts and the Green Point Lighthouse happens to be the oldest working lighthouse in South Africa!

Professionally guided tours depart from outside the Information Centre at the V&A Waterfront on a daily basis and last for 3 hours (tours may be shortened or extended on request). Tours cost R500 per person (min 1 and max 10 guests) and are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Table Mountain Hiking
Adventure and Activity ToursDiscover the magic of Cape Town's iconic Table Mountain whilst hiking with our experienced nature guides who will interpret the wonders of the unique Cape Floral Kingdom, and regale visitors of stories of local legends.
At just over a modest 1000m altitude, Table Mountain is a UNESCO World Heritage site and remarkable geological and natural feature.
The climb up Kasteelspoort zigzags its way up a partly shaded gorge beneath the overhanging walls of Spring Buttress. Climbers are rewarded with views of the twelve apostles that stand like sentinels overlooking the Atlantic coast. Enjoy a picnic lunch down into the Valley of the Red Gods and the Valley of Isolation. Eventually you arrive on the Table Mountain plateau for a pleasant walk towards the Upper Cableway station. The AWOL guide will organise tickets and then proceed down Table Mountain in the aerial cableway. This can take up to 60 people at a time and does a full rotation enabling guests to enjoy 360 degree views of Cape Town, Lions Head and the Mountain itself. Cape Point Tour
Adventure and Activity ToursThe Cape Peninsula, where sea, sky and the mountains meet, is a unique world waiting to be explored. Feel the exhilaration of exploring the Cape Peninsula accompanied by a personalised nature guide.
Guests will be met at Hotel accommodation for a personalised tour by a qualified nature and culture guide who will regale facts, stories and legends about the history and culture of the Cape. We travel to Cape Peninsula National Park viewing the African penguins at Boulders Beach colony en route. Once in the reserve guests have the option of doing a 25km-60km bike ride or more along undulating roads leading down to the Cape of Good Hope, the most South-Westerly corner on the African continent.
Enjoy a leisurely hike from Cape of Good Hope to Cape Point, making the legend of the renowned “Cape of Storms” come alive. Wildlife can be seen amongst the unique vegetation of the Cape Floral Kingdom. Relax and enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the many pristine white beaches or the option to enjoy lunch at the Two Oceans restaurant/Harbour House, with spectacular views over False Bay. We return via the Atlantic coast and travel via Chapman’s Peak to Hout Bay and Llandudno. After a day of activity, (weather and time permitting) enjoy sundowners along the Atlantic Seaboard. Winelands Cycle Meander
Wine ToursExperience Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek, home to the oldest wine route in the Cape
We will meet you at accommodation in Cape Town and depart to Paarl, the birthplace of the Afrikaans language to visit the Afrikaans language monument and Paarl Rock, one of the largest granite boulders in the World. From here we visit one of the many wine estates for a cellar tour and wine tasting before continuing on to Franschhoek to visit the Huguenot Memorial.
The ultimate Winelands experience is to relax with a glass of award-winning wine and enjoy a picnic lunch on one of South Africa famous wineries. In the afternoon we visit the farm cellars
Thereafter we travel to Stellenbosch, home to the oldest wine route in the Cape. A visit to the Stellenbosch Village Museum gives insight to the earliest Cape Dutch inhabitants. Wander down the oak lined avenues and experience Cape Dutch architecture.
Before returning to Cape Town, guests could either continue wine-tasting, or visit a cheetah rehabilitation centre and/or Raptor centre. Rates on a twin sharing basis including transport.
Bicycle Township Tour
People and cultureThis international award winning socially responsible Bicycle Tour in provides guests the opportunity to meet and interact with the local community from a bicycle seat. Guests are met at accommodation and transferred to Masiphumelele and the BEN workshop from where we start the tour. BEN is a non-profit organisation, which promotes the use of the bicycle in all of its forms to enhance low-cost, non-motorised, transport. BEN bicycles are second hand bicycles imported from Europe, fixed and repaired by BEN bike mechanics and then sold at affordable rate to people in the communities. A local guide will take us round the township visiting interesting places and explaining some local Xhosa customs. We visit a local crèche where the teachers work under very difficult circumstances. Part of the tour proceeds go towards the betterment of their facilities. A highlight of the tour is to visit a Sangoma (traditional healer) who performs interactive dancing and drumming. For lunch we visit a local African restaurant or a local lady home who hosts the tourist groups in her home makes authentic African tea or lunch and has dreams of starting her own restaurant in the township. Rates on a twin sharing basis including transport.
Constantia Winelands Meander
Wine ToursExperience the oldest Cape wine route whilst cycling through the sophisticated Constantia suberb viewing the finest Cape Dutch architecture. Enjoy winetasting and gourmet lunch whilst exploring the valley on a bicycle.
Adventure and Activity ToursAWOL Tours offers half day mountain biking tours on the slopes of Table Mountain. Mountain bikers can choose between some easy short rides to strenuous single track rides with steep descents
