African Eagle Daytours was established in 1997 based on the realisation that while a good number of passengers arrived on our shores in organised groups, an even larger portion arrive as individuals who haven't planned the full details of their stay before landing. We therefore identified the need for flexible touring solutions. To fill this need, we created an organisation that could provide organised tours and safaris (from half-day to four-day tours) for the single traveller and small groups, and even fully tailor-make private or group tours. We have established a scheduled, guaranteed departure day tour service that operates 365 days of the year with no minimum number of passengers required. This gives us the ability to accept last-minute bookings or the extra passenger on prepackaged or published tours. We are the go-to guys when you're looking for last-minute solutions.African Eagle Daytours does not operate in a vacuum. We have an obligation and responsibility to our clients to do everything in our power for their benefit, but also an obligation and duty to extend the benefits of tourism to our country and its people. To this end, African Eagle Daytours was one of the first companies to embrace the principles of black economic empowerment. We are founder members of the Tourism Community Development Trust (www.tcdtrust.org.za), which is involved in sustainable community development projects. At home, we believe that our staff members, the majority of whom come from the ranks of the historically disadvantaged, are our greatest asset. We have implemented training programmes that have allowed them to become skilled and seasoned tourism professionals.
