Our trip with you was extremely well organized and perfectly paced. The venues you selected for our accommodations were absolutely delightful and helped give us a real feel for the area. The points of interest you introduced us to were both entertaining and educational and made us understand why the Garden Route area is described as a "must see" in so many travel books. However, without a doubt, what really made the tour so terrific Dirk, was you. Your breadth of knowledge and love for the Cape area and your country as a whole, made it such that travelling with you wasn't just a matter of getting from point A to point B with some sights along the way, but instead an informative, compelling and educational voyage. Moreover, you made us feel like we were travelling with a friend, rather than a guide we had just met
I cant say enough about them, We enjoyed every minute of it and would recommend them to anyone. The price for a personal tour was unbeatable and there was nothing we would rate at less than excellent. Dirk our guide went to endless trouble to ensure we got the best out of the tour and was a mine of information on almost every topic.
Last weekend my Hubby and I took the kids on a Cape Town tour. We booked with 34 South Tours who offer private tours which can be structured to your requirements. We went up Table Mountain in the cable car which was beautiful, you get a full view of Cape Town city and we could even see Robyn Island from the top. We also went to the Dutch East India Company Gardens, which was planted by master gardener Hendrik Boom some 358 years ago. There is even still some Saffraan Pear tress there which he planted. The guide was very informative and my kids learned a lot. We all had a fab day. I highly recommend taking a Cape Town private tour with them - no rushing around, just what you want to do :)
