Dirk Havenga, founder of this family-owned company, is a born and bred Capetonian with eight years of tourism and guiding experience in the Western Cape. Dirk and his wife and fellow Capetonian Laetitia are the soul and inspiration of 34° South Tours. They are passionate about South Africa and find great satisfaction in sharing this special country with overseas guests. 34° South Tours believes your tour guide is the distinguishing factor between a brilliant tour and an average one. We therefore use only registered tour guides, with a proven track record, who are knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic ambassadors, and for whom exploring the Western Cape is as exciting as it is for our guests.
