One of the greatest assets of the African continent is its wealth of semi-precious stones. At Afrogem we have a proud heritage as the oldest manufacturer of semi-precious stone jewellery in South Africa and specialists in South African stones such as Tiger-Eye and Verdite. Our beautiful showroom stocks a wide variety of precious and semi-precious stone jewellery, facetted stones, carvings, minerals and more. Visitors can take one of our free guided tours where they will learn about semi-precious stones and see the manufacturing process of stone cuting and jewellery production. These tours take approximately 20 minutes and are conducted in English, Afrifikaans, German and French. Our showroom is open from 08h30 to 17h00, 7 days a week and we are convenveniently situated in Buitengracht Street. en route to Table Mountain and close to the city centre. We also offer a complimentary one-way taxi fare to immediately surrounding areas and there is ample parking directly in front of the building.
