Our name is Belgian, our ambience international and our setting spectacular. You'll find us on the quayside of Cape Town's Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, where the Atlantic ocean meets the mother city.

Take an umbrella shaded table on our terrace, at the African Queen bar, or in our streamlined interior, where wall-to-wall windows make the most of the stunning surrounding sights. The views of Cape Town's Table Mountain and the beautiful Alfred Basin are magical both night and day. For 15 years this restaurant has been steadily becoming one of Africa's well known restaurants where you can enjoy top international cuisine with a glimpse of the yachts in the Marina.

Menus revolve round fresh, seasonal dishes like just-caught crayfish or herring flown in from Europe. Specialities range from generous pots of mussels and frites to traditional South African fare; gourmet temptations from foie gras brulee to velvet-smooth chocolates from a top Belgian chocolatier.

For visitors wanting to try something local, tasty South African specialities change weekly. To avert a riot by regulars, best-sellers remain constant.

We import beers from small Belgian breweries to ensure a spread of different flavours & styles and our gold-winning winelist offers well-priced local wines by the bottle and glass, and a selection of sought-after mature vintages.
