The Pavilion at The Marine

The Pavilion at The Marine - the Collection by Liz McGrath - overlooks cliffs and a holiday town which just happens to be the whale watching capital of South Africa. With a dedicated menu that focuses on locally sourced produce, this Hermanus seafood restaurant transports diners to a magical place with its heady mix of luxury and taste.

Once you are finished marvelling at the charming 1920s glamour-style decor and vistas of Walker Bay, you may perhaps begin your culinary journey with salmon tataki or a delightful Overberg cheese soufflé. There is an unforgettable breakfast spread with hot options, baked patisserie and fresh fruit.

While much of the menu reflects the seafaring nature of the surrounding region, there are regular choices of grills and meats available. Free-range sirloin and delicious ribeye steaks top the list, ensuring everybody is happy and content at the end of the meal.
