Schapenberg Sir Lowry’s Conservancy
Schapenberg Sir Lowry’s Conservancy allows guests to tackle walks and hikes on Sir Lowry’s Pass with Green Flag status, an award given by the Hiking Organisation of South Africa that denotes a certain level of excellence. Go wine tasting or even request a picnic, making full use of the incredible natural surroundings in which you will find yourself.
The actual aim of this project is the raising of funds to both restore and preserve the area, with much of it going to educating others on the importance of its role as a biodiversity corridor. 5km of the Sir Lowry’s Pass River can be found in this particular corridor.
Walks include trips through the Schapenberg Hills, Waterkloof, Onderkloof, Da Capo and more, all finishing with a superb selection of the region’s finest vintages.
