SANParks – Table Mountain National Park
The crown jewel of South Africa’s national parks, Table Mountain National Park is world- renowned for its namesake flat peak and billowing tablecloth of clouds. The park is both a Natural World Heritage Site and New 7 Natural Wonders of the World.
Stretching from the end of the Cape Peninsula through to Cape Town city, Table Mountain National Park is abundant with attractions and majestic beauty, including the Table Mountain cableway, Cape Point, Boulders penguin colony, Signal Hill and Lions Head.
There is a minor conservation fee payable at certain of the parks sites, but once you see the beauty inside, you’ll realize it’s a worthy contribution. There are a number of accommodation options available, each differing in style and price between sites, but all of which have one thing in common: the most incredible natural setting.
