Kayak Cape Town
While you’re in one of the world’s most beautiful and unique cities, kayak in one of the world’s most beautiful and unique coasts, alongside the penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. Daily trips leave at 8.30am in summer and 9.00am in winter from the historical Simon’s Town harbour, but private trips can also be booked if those times aren’t suitable.
Paddle past the navy vessels and quiet suburban homes till you reach the penguins, keeping your eyes open for friendly Cape Fur Seals that find home in the bay. The warm waters of False Bay can be very inviting, so if the time and tide permit, you may be able to stop on the beach for a swimming break.
